ALEX S. YU Pop-Up Shop, April 1-3
Fresh off the runway at this season’s Fashion Week, designer Alex S. Yu is opening the doors to a #FW2016 pop-up shop. At this three-day pop-up in Yaletown, you can discover, try on, and pre-order the FW2016 collections that you saw on the runways. This label is for those who appreciate garments that explore the fine line between reality and fantasy.
Vintage Clothing Sale, April 10
A pop-up shop called "Better Than Your Neighbour's Garage Sale" featuring lightly used (and well-priced) designer clothing from names like: Acne, Cynthia Rowley, Creatures of Comfort, Rachel Comey, Wilfred, Mackage, Mark Jacobs, Miu Miu, Woolrich and many more! 10:30 AM - 6:00 PM.
HAPPYness Speaker Series, April 12

Capilano University's Fundraiser, April 15
Four students from Capilano University's Arts & Entertainment Management Program team up to bring you local arts for an awesome cause. These artists are coming together to lend a helping hand to a local non-profit group that is worthy of support - The Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre.
The Cityscape Showcase will feature performances from Royal Oak, Zane Barratt, and ESC, following an art sale and exhibition by visual artists Jordan Westre, Tina Yan, and tattoo artist Cody Cowx. Sales from the show will go directly to the DTES Women’s Centre. And to end the show with a bang, there will be a raffle that includes gifts from Earnest Ice Cream, F as in Frank, RIO Theatre, Bone Rattle Guitar Shop, Audiopile Records, Vinyl Records, and London School for Hair. Graphic Design Show, April 19
Twenty emerging Canadian artists throw up their freshest work for an exhibition that weaves together over 6 months of accumulated work. For one night only, people can come and view different design work, mounted around the studio, like an art show. They’ve partnered with Steamwhistle so come a little parched and for art’s sake, take a look. More details here.
