[ON THE STREET] covers pop-up shops, exhibits, and events from around Vancouver and beyond. Got something you'd like to see here? Let's hear it.
We are pretty lucky to be surrounded with talented people who are pushing the envelope and doing things differently in Vancouver, all in the name of shaking our title as No Fun City (who even says that anymore?). When they come together to collaborate, magic happens. Meet our friends Anita Cheung (Social Yoga, #popupmoment), Abdallah El Chami (#thedallahmenu), and Britney Gill (Farmacie). They've teamed up to present A Taste of Leban(omm), a four part yoga and pop-up dinner series beginning May 20.
It's an extension of the popular Social Yoga, bringing together a steady flow yoga class followed by the deliciousness that is #thedallahmenu and bedouin-esque decor by Farmacie. It's a big three course family style dinner with wine and it's hosted at Frontier Studio. What's in a name? It is a witty play on words and a nod to the lebanese-inspired meals. Oh, we also heard that #thatsdallahcious did not get approved... this time.
Tickets to the series are limited to only 12. To avoid laying on your couch while you're starving only to see your friend post that they've just crushed a yoga class and are enjoying a beautiful meal with new friends, get yourself signed up here.
