[FIRST LOOK] SHOE PURVEYOR #POPPYBARLEY ARRIVES IN GASTOWN

[FIRST LOOK] is where we introduce a new pop-up for the very first time. It's now in our Upcoming calendar and should be in yours too.

Established and respected Canadian brand #PoppyBarley arrives to Gastown this June to share the Summer collection of footwear with a five day pop-up at the Woodward's Storefront. Making luxury goods accessible, the brand is changing the landscape of contemporary fashion one pair of shoes at a time. As an e-commerce retailer they ship out hundreds of custom shoes across North America every month. This June they're bringing it all to Gastown.

Sisters and business partners, Kendall and Justine Barber founded the made-to-order footwear brand together in Edmonton. They see luxury as a commitment to craftsmanship, thoughtful design, fair profits and human connection - pillars of the brand. The shoes are made in León, Mexico with cow, calf, goat and deer and the Barber partners work with a family-run tannery to produce these fine leathers. With a high standard of material quality and methodologies we can't help but adore this brand for all it represents. With little material waste, trend forward designs and classic elements #PoppyBarley represents the best in design thinking.

The pop-up arrives June 2nd to 315 Abbott St. in Gastown. Expect the full product line for men and women and be sure to secure your slot and get measured. Store hours here.
