[FIRST LOOK] #SUPERCOLONY CREATE EVERY DAY: 1 YEAR OF GENERATIVE ART

[FIRST LOOK] is where we introduce a new pop-up for the very first time. It's now in our Upcoming calendar and should be in yours too.

Two Vancouver designers assign themselves the project of collaboratively creating a piece of art every day for one year. Welcome to Chinatown the most colourful kaleidoscopic series of digitally generated images we've ever seen. It's Generative Art.

The brains behind Generative Art, Matt Schroeter and Tim Rolls who go by the name #Supercolony are the masters of the digital medium. Their website speaks volumes about what #Supercolony really is -  two art practices converging, smashed together with a set of rules to simply generate a single work every day, and let that daily practice become a visual story.

The pop-up will showcase a selection of works from the 365 piece collection and on opening night they'll have small and large prints for sale, 10 bucks a piece! Come for a drink, gaze into the maze of Generative Art and meet the guys behind #SupercolonyThe opening night party goes down at 434 Columbia April 1st, 7PM and you're invited.
